Kicking1on1 Camps and Events
While Kicking1on1's primary model is 1 on 1 private instruction, we understand the importance of fostering camaraderie, competition, and building relationships among our players and families. Kicking1on1 hosts two primary group events throughout the year: our annual summer camp and the Kicking1on1 "Kicking Club."
Kicking1on1 Summer Kicking and Punting Camp:
Kicking1on1's annual summer kicking and punting camp follows an instructional itinerary that covers all aspects of the kicking game: placekicking, kickoffs, punting, holding, and snapping. Designed to prepare players for fall camp at their respective schools, Kicking1on1 hosts its summer camp in a one day format that includes morning instruction, afternoon film analysis and competition, and special guest speakers. Kicking1on1 Head Instructor Mike MacGillivray and Instructor Paul Stonehouse run each summer camp alongside Kicking1on1's Camp Counselors, all former and current collegiate kickers and punters who have trained extensively with Kicking1on1. To ensure continuity of technique, form, and training, all Kicking1on1 Camp Counselors have trained, developed, and worked with Kicking1on1 for years.
Kicking1on1 "Kicking Club":
Kicking1on1's hosts the "Kicking Club" twice a month during the football season. Designed to foster camaraderie and competition while building relationships between players, the Kicking1on1 "Kicking Club" provides players the opportunity to stay "tuned-up" during the season in an instructional group setting. The "Kicking Club" helps players: maintain tight fundamental technique, address specific technical issues that surface during the season, refine weekly workout routines and game week management, enhance mental preparation, fine tune rhythm, timing, and approach, and discuss recruiting developments. Hosted by Kicking1on1 Head Instructor Mike MacGillivray and Instructor Paul Stonehouse, the "Kicking Club" is a casual, comfortable, setting where players can come and go at their leisure during a two hour period.
